Teaching me how to ride my dirt bike

Shared by Nikki Vaughan on May 6, 2016

I remember this day like it was yesterday, I was inside and daddy screamed my name Nikki come out here your papa is here so I was like yay!!! And I ran as fast as my little 5 year old legs would let me when I got out there my daddy got the bike out of the back of his truck and was like alright are you ready to learn how to ride today? And I was like yesssss!!! So he got me my helmet from his truck to and he said alright pay close attention I'm gonna teach you what to do so I was sitting there and he was teaching me and I remember I saw a butterfly and I was watching it while he was explaining to me what to do lol and I was like oooo look there it goes I knew I should chase after it cause he was showing me then he said alright Nikki you ready and I was like uh oh and I said yes let's go he put my helmet on me and started and he said alright take off so I took off and I was like uh oh I don't know what to do so as my hands are on the handle bars I felt one move so I was like ooooo and I cranked it back as far as it would do and then all I remember is dad screaming Nikki let off the gas and then bomb I fell off right into a stricker patch and then I remember dad saying you alright and I said Yess lets go again and this time I was paying attention and knew not to hold on the gas all the way and that's how I learned to ride my dirt bike at the age of 5! Cause of my amazing daddy love you and miss you forever riding with daddy
