My heart goes out to your wife, daughters and family. You really were an angel that blessed us on this Earth. Can't believe a year went by already.

Just a great guy

April 18, 2014

I remember you being that friend that never left anyone stranded. No matter what time in the night you were there to change a tire. You always wished well on others despite the fact they may have not felt the same.  My friend I will forever carry that memory of meeting you for the first time in Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn, you chasing your brother down the block out of rage just to show nothing but love a day later! I will miss seeing the interaction between your sister, brothers and your parents.

You'll always be in my thoughts! Memories of your laugh, smile and appreciation for family will forever be etched in our hearts.  The world really did suffer a loss when you left us. Although it was cut way too short, the times you shared with your wife and daughtes were truly magical. I loved seeing you guys together. I'm sad that you're gone but glad that I witnessed that moment of happiness in your life.  xoxo - Melissa Benitez-Florio

“If I knew that today would be the last time I’d see you, I would hug you tight and pray the Lord be the keeper of your soul. If I knew that this would be the last time you pass through this door, I’d embrace you, kiss you, and call you back for one more. If I knew that this would be the last time I would hear your voice, I’d take hold of each word to be able to hear it over and over again. If I knew this is the last time I see you, I’d tell you I love you, and would not just assume foolishly you know it already.”  ― Gabriel García Márquez
