The daughter of the late Zemry and Mattie Goodman Thompson, Mrs. Davis was born in Columbus, GA and was a member of the Greater Beallwood Baptist Church. She was a CNA at Oak and Pine Manor Nursing for over 15 years. She also did private duty services, retiring with over 40 years of dedicated service to others. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, two sons, Byron K. and Chucky T. Davis, and siblings, Charles H. Thompson and Evelyn L. Colbert.

Survivors include: her daughter, Tina Lawrence; two sons, Rickey Humber (Sienie) and Michael D. Davis; fourteen grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
