Jeanette was a very old and dear friend of mine. I did not know of her passing. Rebecca you both and your mom were a treasure. Your mom gift of love and strength were truly amazing..... May god be with you....
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jeanette Knuffke, 74, born on July 27, 1938 and passed away on April 11, 2013. We hold her in our hearts.

I so miss not getting daily emails from Jeanette, some funny some sad but always very interesting. I will always remember my last yearly visit with Jeanette, she made a delicious egg salad sandwich for me to take on the plane trip home. We always had good times when I was there and she seemed to find some of the best places with good Mexican food. You were more like a sister Cuz...

My friendship with Jeanette started in Elementary School. She was a perfect choice for Cheerleader in H.S. She was one of the most positively spirited persons I have known. Passionate about life and people, she shared so much of herself and cared about so many. During the past 7 years, we often disagreed, but the friendship remained. Those disagreements deepened my perspective.

Celebration of Life Date

I have planned a celebration of life for my Mother for Saturday, July 6, 2013. (time TBD) At her home in Oro Valley, Arizona. Friends and family will gather to celebrate her remarkable life and radiant soul. We will share stories about what we've learned from her. To honor my Mother, wearing white is encouraged as this will not be a somber occassion.
We plan to video what we can and I will post in on you tube so those that are far away can share in honoring Jeanette as well.
