Jeff was such a good friend for so many years. A wonderful caring man and one of the best professionals in our industry, Such a talent and most of all, a great teacher to so many. Thank you Jeff for all the years of friendship. You will always be in my heart and will be truly missed. I will miss the many hours on the phone the last few years. Love ya Jeff,

I am deeply saddened by his untimely passing. My first gig with him was in SF for Fox NFL. He made me feel welcome and a real part of the crew. At the end of his lengthy stories there was always a message. I am glad to have been a part of his TV family.

Jeff my dear friend...our industry has lost a good one. Jeff could tell endless stories and all had logic at the base. He was always a great friend and colleague and I will miss him dearly. Kristy and I count him a close friend personally and professionaly

Jeff will always be with us, not because of any photos, websites or other ways we tend to memorialize individuals who have touched us. It is because he left an indelible mark in our minds...the mark of a man who was so multidimensional intellectually that even the brightest and best would drown in the depths of his knowledge and expertise! A Forever Friend. Love you man!

Wow I was shocked to hear of Jeff's passing!

He was one of my dearest friends even though I only saw him on our remote locations, we would sit and chat in Paris or us open and just pick up where we left off from the last time we spoke.
What a nice caring soft spoken man, he will be missed

Such a sad loss of another member of our television family. Jeff had such an understated way of explaining the complex technologies of television that always failed in the most inopportune moment. He was a gentleman and an example that many could learn from. But most of all he was a loyal friend and one who will be truly missed.
