Jeffrey Leonard Stevenson, age 51, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Mullica Hill from cardiac arrest due to AFib. Jeffrey was born in Our Lady of Lourdes in Camden, New Jersey December 9, 1968 and grew up in Cherry Hill. He was the son of William and Joyce (Lambertson) Stevenson. He was a 1987 graduate of Woodstown High School. He married Dawn Osborn on August 20, 1994 in Alloway, NJ.
He worked as a union electrician at Local #351 IBEW, displaying an aptitude of problem solving and a passion for creation. The way he died is just like he lived. He wrote his own rules, he challenged authority and paved his own way. If you said he couldn’t do it, he would make sure he could. His life was an example of his favorite quote from Gen. Patton, “Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way”.
Jeffrey was a loving father and brother. He is survived by his sister and nephew, Cathy and Brad Hansell, brother in-laws Gary Hansell, and Steven and Mark Osborn, along with their children, Camille, Jack, and Hannah Osborn; also, his three sons, Alex, Erik, and Vaughn Stevenson, and their mother, Dawn Osborn.
All who loved him dearly will not forget his energy, tenacity, empathy and love for nature and animals. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to J & Co. Rescue at 38 Woodland Ave, Franklinville, NJ. More information at jandcorescue.weebly.com
