Cathy-
I had the pleasure of working with Jeff on two challenging projects at the GSD plant over the past 30 years. Jeff was always inquisitive and understanding of our archaeological objectives, though they weren't related to the plant's engineering and his expertise. We rarely had a chance to talk about family, but it is easy for me to realize what a wonderful husband and father he was. My heartfelt sympathy- Jeff was one of those very special characters in our lives.

Cathy, a quote from Irish poet W.B. Yeats sums up what all the GOY
felt about Jeff:
"When asked where man's glory begins and ends, say my glory was
I had such friends".

A sincerely good man is gone and the industry has lost a true champion. Over the decades I've known Jeff, he was Always uplifting, encouraging and ever challanging you to to your best ever. His wry smile could melt an iceberg. His contributions to the water industry have created standards that will long be followed. Along with countless others, I am lucky and honored to have known Jeff and to have learned from his giving attitude and example. Thank you Jeff. RIP

I can't believe my "Jeffy" is gone. He was such a good guy, patient and soft spoken with a very clever sense of humor. He was blessed to have his devoted wife Cathy by his side as he fought this battle. I'm happy that the family will come to NJ so we can celebrate Jeff's life here.

Much love to Cathy, Danielle and Melissa.

What can I say about Jeff, he was a great guy, & brother-in-law, always had fun times together. My sister Cathy was right by his side his whole sickness, that mean't the world to him, she is a very strong person, as Jeff said to me once, Cathy is the Best, I agree.
Everytime I came out to California, we always toke a walk at the Harbour at night by ourselves, it was our thing, I will miss that when I come out. We had lots off fun times at his family's shore house in Silverton, Jeff loved the way I ate crabs, shells & all he loved to tell that story. I will miss you. Love Alicia

So many great memories with Jeff that it is hard to pinpoint one but will say he always made every moment better with his sense of humor and putting things into perspective. Mentored more people than I think he even realized, made us all better people. He will be missed immensely.
