This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jenny Rayborn Luna, 23, born on September 10, 1986 and passed away on April 28, 2010. We will remember her forever.  Jenny was a rare person that had the ability to live life with intensity and abandon.  Her wicked sense of humor and laughter live in all she knew and loved. She was a wonderful mother, daughter and friend.  I hope you will feel free to share your memories and photos or just light a candle in her memory.  This site will be cherished by all especially Layla and Cadence her beautiful baby girls.

Tributes are short messages commemorating Jenny, or an expression of support to her closest family and friends. Leave your first tribute here, and others will follow.

There is a race of men that don't fit in,

A race that can't stay still.

So they break the hearts of loved and kin,

And they wrong the world at will.

They range the field and rove the flood,

And they climb the mountains crisp.

Theirs is the curse of gypsy blood and they don't know how to rest.

If they just go straight they might go far,

They are strong and brave and true.

But they are always tired of the things that are,

And they want the strange and new.

And each forgets as he strips and runs with a brilliant fitful pace,

It is the steady quiet plodding ones that win in the life long race.

She is one of the forgotten, she was never meant to win,

She is a rolling stone, and is spread in the bone,

She is a woman who won't fit in.

The Cord

August 15, 2011

We are connected, my child and I,

By an invisible cord, not seen by the eye.

It is not like the cord, that connects us until birth,

This cord can not be seen by any on Earth.

This cord does it's work, right from the start,

It binds us together, attached to my heart.

I know that it's there, though no one can see,

The invisible cord between my child and me.

The strength of this cord is hard to describe,

It can't be destroyed, it can't be denied.

It is stronger than any cord, that man can create,

It withstands the test and can hold any weight.

And though you are gone, though your not here with me,

The cord is still there, though no one can see.

It pulls at my heart, I am bruised ...I am sore,

But this cord is a lifeline, as never before.

I am so thankful that God connects us this way,

A mother and child even death can't take away!
