Jerry Van “PeeWee” Ramsey, 67, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at his home.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late McLean Ramsey and Hortense Jones Ramsey. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and retired from Butner Public Safety.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Providence Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Pittman. Burial will be in Triple Creek Farm Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Joshua and Darrin Ramsey of Oxford; two sisters, Joyce R. Ellington of Oxford, Kathy R. Williams (Lyn) of Rougemont; a brother, William “Bill” Ramsey of Oxford and a grandson, Aiden Ramsey and nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held Saturday evening October 13, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
Flowers are kindly accepted or memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 4603 Old Rt. 75 Oxford, NC 27565.
