Joanne was an uncommon person. She could make you feel at home in her home. She would actually listen to what you said. She would never turn down an opportunity to be a part, to get on with the party, to play one more game, to deal one more hand.

We knew Joanne for such a brief time but we felt we somehow always knew her. Her courage, her caring, her perseverance will always be an inspiration.
