So not too long ago I decided I was going to make dinner for us. We had both had a tough week at work and I thought it might be fun. So I prepped it and brought it over to Joe's place. I put it in the oven for a bit. So when it came time to eat it, I quickly realized it did not taste very good at all! I looked up at Joe and he just laughed. I asked him how it was and he told me it was good. He ate every bite of it and the left overs...He promised he would teach me how to cook..:(

I met Joseph at my neighbors house..(Allen's drennens) every time I walked in the door and seen he was there I was so excited I loved sitting and talking with him! I'll never forget the day I bought my first five speed from William I was so nerves to drive it..everybody was watching me out the window as I tried backing up and of course I kept on killing it. Joe just stood there and laughed at me I was stuck in the ditch under a tree at this point..he was trying to tell me how to get in gear and take off!! I'll never forget his laugh and that smile! Or all the nights joe,Diana and I sat up playing wee as my granny was sick and joe tried taking my mind off things! I feel so blessed to have met joe! Thanks for all the laughs and always trying to make the best out of every situation!!

Me and Joe went to high school together, but I didn't actually know him that good then.I met him again through my big brother Allen. I was going through a hard time and Joe made me go hang out with him to get me out of the house and cheer me up.we always stayed in touch. He was one who was by my family's side when my mother passed away a few months back, he just knew how to be there and to make us laugh even when all we wanted to do was cry. He was such a great guy.I wish he could of seen himself through all of our eyes, so he could of seen how important he was and how loved he is. Joe you will truly be missed.

POINTFEST

December 8, 2014

Joe tells this story WAAAY better than I do, but here it goes. Joe and I went to Pointfest together last year. We had a great time. It was about 105° that day. I rarely drink, but that day I did. Apparently alcohol and heart do not mix. We were in line to get more drinks and some nachos. As soon as we walked away I completely black out, fell to the pavement and laid there for a minute or two. I had cheese sauce all over the place. This re-occurred throughout the day. I would have never made it had it not been for you, Joe. You pretty much carried me around on your back through the crowds to get to the next stage for the next band. We stayed until the end, thanx to you. My point to this story is to show that Joe was a very selfless person. He would do anything for anybody. Joe was truly an amazing person and will be greatly missed by many.
