Few people in life do I look at and say that "guy" is special!!!!
Uncle John was one of the special ones.......
man I'm gonna miss him. John took my son under his wing and loved him as if he were his. LT will wear JC under his cap at USC and throughout his career honoring Big Uncle John. I know you will continue to follow LT and be his guardian angel. Condolences go out to Lisa.

Oh my God! Here come the tears again as I type this. What I would give right now just to have you here again to aggravate me one more time! Why did this have to happen??? Why??? I miss you so much and still cannot believe this is real. The only thing I am thankful for is that you are no longer in pain and suffering. Please watch over mom, dad and Dan for us. Don't worry we will all be here for Lisa. RIP I love you.

I will never forget your patient walk at the Disney Mall place where you were so good waiting for Lisa to pick out her Coach items (was that the Disney Mall? Or the outlets?) Either way... you were such a wonderful husband and the second I met you I loved you! Your accent made me smile and your sense of humor was exactly what it needed to be to fit in with us. I will miss you. I'm sorry you are so far away and I won't be able to be there physically to say goodbye, but I'm thinking of you and Kath and I are sending hugs and love to you and Lisa and all of those whose lives you have touched. xoxoxo Take good care of Nana while you are there!

John, The last time I saw you was in May at the baseball game we went to with Lisa and Jason. It was an awesome time and I'm thankful for it. What else am I thankful for? Your kind, laid back spirit. You always were so calm and were the ying to Lisa's yang. You guys fit like puzzle pieces fitting perfectly together and you were a valuable asset to our family. I'll miss you so much. I think I'll miss our sports talks and all your Red Sox shirts and hats you so proudly wore. God received an amazing angel when you knocked on his door. Now you can root for the Sox from above. We'll be looking up high fiving you.

I can't believe we lost John. I can never express through words how much influence John has had in my life. I will truly miss him. John was the type person who would do anything for anyone in need. He did all that while never expecting anything in return. I thought of John as a brother and always longed to have a heart as big as his. It was truly an honor to know him and spend time with him. You have left a lasting impression on me so until we meet again my friend. I love you brother.

John was a great man. I would play with him. We were best friends. He's been a part of my life my whole life ever since I was born and now he met Jesus and Heavenly Father. And thanks for always coming to my baseball games and practicing with me. I will see you in heaven. Love Coleman "The Rock"

It's still hard to believe that John is no longer with us. I still remember most of the moments we spent together. For example, his 50th birthday or my 8th birthday! Or all the times we had him over and had a great time. John has been with me since the day I was born. He is very important to me in my life. I don't remember any day since I was born without him and I know John will watch over me the rest of my life. Love Hali "Princess"

I miss John so much. He always was there to help me learn and grow for the last 10 years (my life). Although he is gone I still picture him with me. He is one of the few people that always makes me smile. I miss you more than you will ever know John. Love Brooklin

John was without a doubt a special person. Few people go thru life with such a caring and loving spirit as he did. He was the brother I never had and truly my best friend. My wife and I are grateful for the time we had with Him and Lisa and miss him greatly

John, I can't believe that you have left us here to go fly high above. The time we spent running around in Florida, and all that you taught me about being a manager was some of the best times I had in Florida! Even though we where miles apart, when I talked to you it was like we lived next door. You always knew when to crack a joke and break up the tension, and when to be serious and to the point, you was a mentor and a brother to a lot of people. You will be missed my brother! Spread your wings and soar until we meet again!

I met John when I worked at FedEx in Austin. My husband and I helped him and Lisa buy a home in Hutto, TX. John and I had one thing in common and that was our love of baseball. He the Sox and me the Tigers. We often teased each other when they played against each other. He was a great sport and a lovely man. He will be missed by so many. I can tell by all of these memorials I've read so far. Rest in Peace John.
