My dearest Daddy,
It is 50 years since you left us to go back to the creator. I just cannot believe how the time has gone. This morning when I woke up I was thinking how you died at Andrews house in Galmoruwa. How you were brought back to Colombo for your berial. It's all like a dream Daddy you had such s lovely time with all of us for the New Year and the next day you did not wake up and we were all so shocked and so so devastated.
You always gave us a lovely Christmas and that I remember so well. Over the years I too have tried my best to do the same with my family and I always tell my children that their granddad was very perticular about the Christmas time. As always Daddy I remembered you this past Christmas and I will continue to do that. I hope you are happy in heaven Daddy please pray for us. Dear Daddy we will never forget the good things you taught us ,We miss you so much and remember you each day when we recite the Holy Rosary and at Holy mass, as these things we learn t from you. Praying before and after meals and helping the the poor I will never forget how you used to give your meal to a poor beggar who came to the door at meal time.We used to have a lovely time at X'Mas going to midnight mass coming home early hours of the morning and sharing a nice spread that you had laid before going to church. I am sure you are enjoying your stay with God please do not forget to ask God to help all your children and grand children.You never had the chance to meet my husband Hector but I am sure he is with you.
