John Stewart, Air Force and Korean war veteran (known to me and many others as "Uncle Buddy") was a great presence in my life. So many times he offered his wisdom regarding cars, gardening, and cooking. Don't even get me started on those baby back ribs he created.

I will miss him greatly, but that voice will always be in my head. That deep, throaty voice telling me "Hey Mickey! Don't take those ribs out of the oven until you can turn those bones!"

Rest well, Uncle Buddy.
