Rev Gen JI Mbanefo- 3yrs and it still hurts but the consolation remains the legacy you have left for me and the rest of the family. Your good deeds resonates, not one person has uttered anything negative about you-you have made us so proud and you raised us so well to the envy of people. The bond we shared had no bounds even in death. Chinyelugo sleep on, you played your part! Mum, Ify and I as well as so many others are consoled with the fact that you are a soldier of Christ in heaven! May your Soul and that of all the faithful departed Rest In Peace. Amen.

It is with a broken heart that I write this, I have been struggling and deeply disturbed that I will be writing a tribute for you Uncle Jonny at this time. The apparent uproar was sure to come as death is the only inevitable aspect of mankind but occurred at the time least expected.

Uncle, you were a family bridge that tried in your ways to keep immediate and extended family united. You touched so many lives by your selfless and countless acts of kindness, always giving and never expecting any favours in return.

You always have this cheerful smile on your face and with an impeccable dress sense, you had your unique way of relating with every and anybody who you met with both old, young, poor or rich that me everybody feel loved and respected. You are and will always be an inspiration to myself and the entire family.

We take comfort in the fact that your mission on earth would have been fulfilled and the benefits of your hard work is a living testimony for the so many men, women and families you took under your wings at a personal level.

Your loss is particularly a hard one however, our thoughts are filled with the many years of happy and joyful moments we had, and that special connection that belongs only to you.

Farewell peoples General until we meet again.
