Beloved Pina, wife, mother, Nonna, and Bisnonna

As the bells rang a quarter past noon on March 7, our beloved Nonna took her last breath, peacefully, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She has joined her forever Valentine, our Nonno, who has been patiently waiting for her in the heavenly skies. They can now forever dance to the angelic voice of Andrea Bocelli on the cobblestone streets of Sant’ Andrea, Italy.

She was the beloved Pina, wife, mother, Nonna, and Bisnonna adored by her family and all those who were lucky enough to have been graced by her presence through her gift of cooking and life lessons.

She came to America, young and in love, at the age of 18. Little did she know this was the beginning of her legacy, where she would learn how to persevere through a time where women were not generally accepted as working professionals and mothers. She was at the forefront of defining the modern woman.

She will be missed by all those who were blessed by her presence, her incredible home cooking, and her constant outpouring of love.

Ciao, Nonna. Until we are together again.
