As i have been going thru the internet for many years to find Judy Shalovitz one who I have met in a lifetime long ago.
We met in Miami Beach Fl. I sit here and wonder is this the Beautiful Girl who Had my Heart I had lost the Pictures we took together in that Photo Booth they had then costing a quarter is she who I met back then as I read the words of others and about her life and where she was born (we were born in the same year I a bit older) and she lived in new york i had also and was sent to Florida to a foster home.
It can only be her for even thou I have grown older I can still remember the days we spent together walking and talking and sharing our dreams of life. Right then in those days I grew up even thou I was a young man still. We could only spend a few hours together for she had a Mother who gave her so much problems by making her life a living hell. I wanted to save her from all that but couldnt for I had no real home of myself living with people i was given to they wouldnt help save her. I didnt take that rejection to kindly. Her vacation ended and we exchanged address and phone numbers. Years later i ran away to N.Y. to live and find work (1958) No jobs for me no matter what. While there I called Judy to see how she was doing she still had a Problem with her mother blaming her for many thingShe told me all about it. I wont go into that it was personal and I wont revel a thing of that nature. (its none of your business) She agreed to meet me on a certain day and time but I had to not acknowledge we were close in Miami for the guy she was now seeing for a better way to explain he was not of good standing in the community. we spent a few hours chatting and then time was at hand. She asked me to not call again on the phone or come by to see her for her mother would go off the deep end so to speak and the guy she was with lets say her protecter didnt want any other guys around her. I have always Loved her and not for one day forgot her we did fall in love some say Puppy love I dont I have always had her in my Heart no matter where I was. In later years I tried to look up where she might have been living but couldnt find a thing so I just went about my business Growing up and military life etc. Now as I am much older I tried again now that things are coming to a close in my life and before I close my eyes one day for good I wanted to look upon her once again and see her Beautiful smile hear her voice and now I am not able to for she has gone to Heaven. I am hoping that there is a after life for me there I want to see her again and continue talking and sharing and walk with her holding hands as we did as kids. Going to the Hotel ( called the White House) play games for kids where we played ping pong and listened to the juke box and hear her favorite songs. And we met her friends she had made along the way. And now I look to the day we can see each other there if I am allowed after all not all good men go to Heaven. My Love for you Judy still grows.  C.       xanadudawn33@yahoo.com

Judith Ann,who preferred to be called Judy, throughtout her life, was a retired Cerified Occupational Therapist (COTA). She was born on December 29,1940, in Budapest, Hungary to Samuel (Sam) and Irene (Muller) Shalovitz. Judy adored her father, but always felt that her mother blame her for a mis-carriage of a baby brother that Judy would never know. The family arrived in the United States on January 21,1948 and settle in the Bronx, Judy was a graduate of Junior H.S 123 and later she attended the school of Industrial Arts in Manhattan, in her senior year she drop out, lie about her age and got a job. On June 27,1959 she married James C Grapshi, against her parents wishes, her marriage was short lived for on February 1,1962 she filed for an annulment. She was working as a waitress, when she decided to go back to school and get her Diploma, so she attened Washington Irving Evening classes and got that Diploma on January 1967, from there she went on to Bronx Community College (N.Y. Medical College Center for the Chronic Disease)(Welfare Island) and on July 1968 after her training, she became a Certified Occupational Therapist, it was the happiest day of her life, a title that she would hold for the next 42 years. She loved working and helping people, all that was missing now was someone to share her life with. She had a few love affairs, but it would always end in heart break's, until the last one, which in itself  is a Love Story, that one day I might share with those who Loved and Cared for her.

Her best Loved friends that she cherish to the end of life was Cindy, Billy and Anna

Judy lost her battle to Bladder Cancer on September 9, 2014 around  5:17 pm at CMC Hospital in Scranton Pa., at her bedside was her adopted sister, who held her hand and told her that she Loved her, with a tear in Judy eye, she draw her last breath and was gone, to be with her parents and that of her adopted parents. She leaves behind a broken Hearted Family, that will always remember a Beautiful Loving and Caring human being that ever walked this Earth.
