This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Julian Leopold Osinski 84 years old, born on December 13, 1935 and passed away on June 29, 2020. We will carry his influence and love forever.
Julian Leopold Osinski, age 84, loving husband of the late Irina E. Osinski, of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2020 in the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery after a short illness. Born on December 13, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Julian and Filomena (Orand) Osinski.
Julian attended Fairview High School where he met the love of his life, German immigrant Irina. They married a few years later and gave birth to their first daughter, Sonia, after he attended the University of Cincinnati. He studied Chemical Engineering. as a co-op student, working in the Dayton area. He designed and repaired instrumentation and engineered devices to solve manufacturing problems.
After running his sole proprietor manufacturing business in Dayton, Ohio, Julian joined Bentley Harris Manufacturing in 1973 relocating his family of 5, now with son Julian and youngest daughter Tina, to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania where he remained for the rest of his life.
Mr. Osinski had a passion for cars, motorcycles, bicycles, antique radios, clocks, watches, machinery and all things mechanical. He bought his first antique car, a Model T, as a teenager in Dayton, Ohio, and from there grew to collect Jaguar XK roadsters, a Cord, a Packard, a Dodge Hemi, a couple Corvettes, Harley Davidsons, and sundry other oddities, like a World War II motorcycle, a lathe, a moped, an old steam engine, an antique pinball machine, and numerous antique radios, antique bikes, antique fans, clocks, and pocket watches, repairing all of them along the way.
In fact, Mr. Osinski was the man you thought of when you needed help repairing anything mechanical, with a basement and workshop packed with just the right tool, and a delight to have an excuse to dabble he could fabricate any repair necessary.. When he wasn’t tinkering or inventing, his favorite pastimes were reading non-fiction and car magazines, (with a mind that remembered nearly every word he took in) and enjoying a good cigar with a cocktail. An avid conversationalist and listener, Julian enjoyed a lifetime of spirited conversations over cocktails with family, friends and neighbors.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend to many, young and old. His twinkling blue eyes, brilliance, independent spirit, warm heart, humor and kindness will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Mr. Osinski is survived by his two daughters, Sonia L. (Charles) Schott of New Canaan, CT, and Tina L. Osinski; of Petaluma CA; One son, Julian S. Osinski of Woodside CA; He is also survived by his five loving grandchildren- Alexandra Schott, Charles Julian Schott, Kristian Schott, Kira Schott and Drew Hallman-Osinski.

Mr. Osinski was preceded in death by his wife Irina E. Osinski, his sister Tonia Sagar and his parents, Julian & Filomena (Orand) Osinski.

Dear Dad-
Truly happy day because I am thinking of you, plus ...,even more important, your legacy continues with the arrival of Heidi Marina Smith in September. Alexandra and Greg are the joyous parents. Watching the arrival of the next generation and my child taking on parenting brings forth memories of my own childhood and my parents. Cheers, Dad.

Jules- you departed too soon .... many questions only you can answer - How did you pack so many tires in the attic? Where did you stash the transmission for the Cord? What were your plans for the 3 Jaguars? There are so many stories untold. You have made many friends, impressed by your collection of period artifacts. Sonia and I fondly remember your welcoming "Hell -low!" during our Horseshoe Trail visits, clearing out a dining area and stocking the fridge with her homemade goodies. Peace be with you - Charlie

Hey Jules - gotta fire up the Harleys for one last cruise in 2021, light the cigars and kick back over a cockledorf. Missing your steady and heady grasp of the world. Listening to the bastards, but watching what they do! Charlie

Happy Birthday dearest Dad. I think of you every single day. Every. Day. I miss you. I love you. I want a bourbon mixed by you. I want to grill you a burger. I want to bring you the half of the meatloaf I froze. I want to slice for you the stollen I baked. But now, only in my heart can I do these things with you. You are always with me.

we leave behind
is not to die.”

Jules - gonna light a cigar, my kerosene heater and enjoy a cockledorf in your memory. Missing our discussions on your latest Hemmings finds and reconstructing a "repossessed leaf blower cabetrator". Dec 13th was a perfect day for a late year Harley ride. RIP good buddy,
Charlie
