Mom's whole life revolved around caring, giving & loving. She was always the go to person to watch our kids. She always bought season tickets to shows for just her and Leah. That was their special time that only the two of them shared.

She amazed me how she could teach herself to sew and crochet. She was an excellent seamstress. She made a lot of my clothes when I was growing up. When she taught herself crochet, she wouldn't make the tipical afgan, she crochet dolls. She loved dolls!  She would spend weeks on these dolls & give them to family.

She was my guiding light, my shining light. I could always go to her and know I would get the best advise. She had such discernment when it came to something troubling me. No matter how hard I tried hiding it, she knew. She was my spirital teacher. Boy, did she know her Bible. She instilled in us to not get caught up in this world but to store all our treasures in Heaven. 

She was my mother, my confidante, my best friend.
