ForeverMissed
Heaven gained a beautiful angel this week with the passing of Kathleen Mary Storms. She left this earth peacefully, surrounded by the love and laughter of her husband and children. She joins the ranks in heaven with her parents, Eileen & Donald Cline, brothers Don & Dan and little sister Lois. And at long last, she was reunited with her beloved daughter Kelly.

Kathy grew up in a large family, the third in a lineup of nine kids- Don, Dan, Doug, Dennis, Lois, Dale, Marianne, and David. Born in the territory of Alaska, she spent her childhood traveling the world as a daughter of a proud military family. Her favorite memories included growing up in Germany, traveling to Ireland and cruising the French Riviera with her family.

Yet with all the traveling she had done, she found herself planted in the perfect spot at Olga’s Diner 47 years ago. Sitting in a booth with her best friend Donna, Kathy had laughter in her eyes and a smile on her face when she caught the eye of a gentle giant walking in.

She has spent every day since then cherished and adored by the love of her life, Chuck Storms.

Their love grew to include eight children and she was the most amazing Mom to Heather (Chris), Laurie (Anthony), Kelly, Missy (Patrick), Kaitlyn (Matthew), Megan (Mike), Chuck (Stef), and Sarah. She was promoted to Mom Mom with the births of Isabella, Callie, Oliver, Adelina, Charlotte, Asher, and August and always said that the best parts of her would live on in her family.

She was an honorary matriarch to her beloved extended family, an Aunt Kathy to generations of kids and a friend to everyone she met. The consummate hostess, you could find her holding court in any room she was in- all you had to do was listen for the laughter to find her. She could retail therapy any bad day into a good one and we are confident that somewhere out there, a Target employee is shedding a tear over her passing.

Please join us as we celebrate this incredible woman on Saturday, September 25th. The family is receiving guests at 9:30am with services to begin at 12pm - Ferrell Fire Hall - 186 Elk Rd, Monroeville, NJ 08343.
