Even though Kehinde was my cousin, to me she was just my baby sister. You were a perfect soul, a gift to our family. The pain of your loss is too much to bear for all of us. I keep asking...why Kehinde? But I have to remind myself you were a special gift and we need to be grateful for the time we had you. And also grateful for Samuel and Daniel, the special gifts you left us with. Thanks for coming along and making our world sweeter. You will remain forever in our hearts.

I have lost count of the number of times I have had to stare at your picture and ask why? Why do you have to leave so early? But who am I to question God.
You lived a good Christian life. You were a true friend, a friend who always wished for the success of all her friends.
Kehinde, I pray your beautiful soul rests in peace and may God strengthen your family and all your loved ones at this time and always.
Sleep on Kehinde in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus....

Death sadly has no age limitations. If it did, Kehinde you will still be here on earth. If Life and Death were fair, kind and considerate; Kenny you will be on mother earth being a mother to your young children.
But, since all these considerations were known to our supreme God and yet he okayed your exit. It's now our hope that he okays your entrance into his heavenly presence.
To her parents and immediate family, I hope whenever you find the courage to read this; you will be wrapped in comfort knowing that God is able. To her young sons... when you can read this, know that Mummy had many good friends and was a very lovable person. Live in that joy.

Kehinde, There are no words to describe the void you left behind in all of us especially for your precious sons Daniel and Samuel, your husband Wale, your parents and siblings. I believe that you are enjoying the bosom of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 4:13-14 says "It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself." So, Rest dear Kehinde.Rest.

I met Kehinde in 2007, when I was dating her brother and ever since that day, we have had a close relationship as sisters. Her contagious laughter and pleasant personality is one that first attracted me to her. Kehinde's laughter, just makes you laugh, whether you feel up to it or not. Even when I get busy with life, and don't call, she will call to check up on us, and we will talk for hours. Like we always say in the Oladeinde household, Kehinde is (I still cannot get myself to use past tense) our "madam socialite." She was always celebrating with family and friends. Every weekend, Kehinde would have one event or another to attend, whether it's a baby shower, bridal shower, wedding, birthday, church event, she always had her social calendar full. I'll miss you terribly, and I thank God for letting me be a part of your life. I know you are resting in the bosom of the Almighty, whom you loved and served till the very end.

I didn't have a close relationship with Kehinde, but I can't forget her smile at the door as a member of JHB's welcome team or when she'd come in later to sit in aisle 4. She was indeed a bright light and a sweet soul. May God uphold her husband, children, and family at this time.

The Sweetest Little Flower

August 19, 2017

You were the sweetest little flower I ever saw ; so shy so humble and the youngest daughter of my dearest friends. It's been a year. But although time has passed , you will always be The sweetest little flower. Even after you became a women and we celebrate the birth of your twin sons. You were still the sweetest little flower. So patient and lovely and supportive. It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.

In Loving Memory of Kehinde Babalola

August 23, 2016

We both attended FGGC Sagamu and we were bunk-mates in our final year. What i remember most about her was her peaceful nature. This indeed is an overwhelming  loss. May the good Lord rest her soul in perfect peace and may her loved ones have the fortitude to bear this loss.
