Although I only got to know Dr. D’Amato very briefly, getting to know him has greatly enriched my life. He was a very private person, but openly shared his passion for life by accomplishing so much in such a short time. He had a desire to get strong and healthy and talked about maybe someday owning a dollar store in NC. I will miss our conversations and am deeply saddened by his passing.

Keith, even though our friendship was short lived in this life, I enjoyed the times we had dinner , especially the ones our friend Ted made or the walks with our friend Anne or just the thoughts we texted back & forth. It was a pleasure knowing you & may your heart & soul now be at peace, love you, Charolette

Keith, I will always cherish the time we spent walking our neighborhood & talking along with your special dog Moose. There were times we just walked, no words needing to be exchanged, we had that special bond. We were meant to be brought into each others lives at the time we were and I am thankful every day. I love you & miss you Keith. Until we meet again...

I was fortunate to have met Keith thru Dr Beth Pearce. He was caring,
thoughtful and so witty. I feel blessed to have known him. He will be in
my heart always. Love, laughter and tears to Dr. "D"

Keith was one of the most caring psychologists I have had the privilege of working with. The students he cared for at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind trusted and loved him. His sense of humor shown through when he looked at you with those kind brown eyes, especially when he was trying to be serious. I will miss you my friend, see you on the other side.
