ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in memory of our loved ones, Quincy Zane Kellybrew, 0, born on March 9, 2015 and passed away on March 9, 2015. We will remember him forever. Also, his twin sister, Zoey Giselle Kellybrew born March 13, 2015 and passed away March 13, 2015.

Both babies were born alive and responded to mom by crying and holding her fingers with their tiny hands. Quincy was born at home and paramedics took Mom to Summerlin Hospital. Doctors kept Mommy in the hospital hoping Zoey would be born healthy after at least 10 weeks but she was born on Friday, March 13, 2015.

Zoey lived nearly 3 hours without medical assistance and NICU doctor refused to put her in NICU because he said she would not survive because her skin was too thin and there were no needles small enough to use on her. Rather than put her under a lamp to waste away, Mom held her every precious moment of her life.

This was Mom's easiest pregnancy and we were all very excited for our twins to be born. Mom found out at 10 weeks that Quincy might have Trisomy 18 and may not survive. We were sad but hoped doctors were wrong. On every ultrasound the babies were playing with each other, hugging each other, and Baby B-Zoey was head butting Quincy-Baby A. We knew Baby B was a girl but Baby A was modest and hiding. Mom said she had a boy and a girl and she was right. Mom knows her body.

Mom has now lost 6 babies in total. This time was so much harder losing two babies at once who were born alive. This is a trying time for our family but we are trying to count our blessings. There are so many unexplained things we will never understand about this experience. Please keep us in your prayers.

My precious twin babies, Zoey Giselle & Quincy Zane, I will miss you every second for the rest of my life. There will always be two missing people at the table and at every benchmark in our lives. I'm thankful for the minutes of your short lives. I'm grateful that I got to hold you every moment of your lives. Our entire family misses you, especially your big sister, Kassidy Marlo. She cries for you every night.
