His Life
October 6, 2016

Kingsley Chukwuemeka Anuebunwa was born on the 7th of January in Uyo, AKwa Ibom State to the family of Chief Joseph and Mrs. Florence Anuebunwa.  He was the first child and first son of four children.

He started his early years primary education in Ekulu Primary School Enugu and his secondary education began in Government College Ibadan and he completed his secondary education in Government College Umuahia. He went on to study Microbiology in the University of Port Harcourt and thereafter obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Imo State University and an MBA in Marketing from the Lagos State University.

Kingsley started his working career in 1990 as a Microbiologist at A.J. Seward in Lagos. He then moved to Parcel Network International where he was the Business Development Manager for 2 years  after which he spent 15 years working  in Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL) where he worked in various positions the last being Brand Manager before his demise.

Kingsley was a selfless individual who knew the true meaning of family and loved his parents, wife, children, siblings unconditionally and always made sure that he did all that needed to be done. Kingsley was a loyal and committed friend, kept in touch with old friends and maintained valued relationships with his friends and colleagues. He did not mind to go without to make sure that the need of others were met.

Kingsley had such a peaceful demeanor and a good sense of humor and even while sick he maintained his sense of humor,  cracking jokes repeatedly with anyone who came to visit.

Mimi as he is fondly called by his family went home to be with the Lord on the 31st October after a brief illness. His passing has left everyone who knew him in shock and trying to come to terms with the fact that their beloved Son, brother, husband, father and friend is no more.

Kingsley is survived by his parents Chief Joseph & Mrs. Florence Anuebunwa, His wife Kelechi Anuebunwa, His children Chukwuemeka and Somtochukwu Anuebunwa, His brother Kenneth Anuebunwa, his sisters Mrs. Adaoha Akanimo-Simmons and Mrs. Ihuoma Emezie, His in-laws Michelle Anuebunwa, Akanimo Simmons  Chukwuma Emezie, nieces, nephews,  cousins,  relatives  and friends too Numerous to mention.

The Lord gives and the Lord takes and in everything the bible says we should give God thanks so we thank the Lord Almighty for the live he lived and the fact that we know he made heaven gives us the solace that he is free from every pain and in a better place.

Kingsley will be sorely missed. Good night our dear Gentle giant until we meet again on the resurrection morning at the feet of our Lord Jesus.
