Writing this tribute is a difficult task not knowing where and how to start.

Unable to recollect the exact period we lived together as siblings in the same house, the few days I spent holidays with our parents. You were so good to me as your younger brother, who lived and visited from our grandmother’s house. I cannot remember anytime we had a quarrel or misunderstanding leading to a fight.

Every member of the family cooperated to keep the family afloat and well-fed through the war years. I can not forget the great joy you brought into our house when you stepped into the compound that morning being the last member of our family returning from the warfront.

You were in the Ogbunigwe demolition squad in the Biafra army engineers. I served in the field park regiment while De-nap was with the Information Service. It was indeed a glorious reunion, allowed by God almighty. None of us was lost to the war.

You had a stint in trading with four years apprenticeship in Aba. Although you did not eventually practice this. You took an interest in photography. A series of cameras were provided to you along with a Honda Bentley motor bike for ease of doing business. You made a name for yourself (De-cardinal photos) with good photographs but unfortunately the business struggled.

You practiced iron works and led to you effectively handling the construction of Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa’s residential building in Benin City. This also came with it challenges as after this, you were since not able to practice outside Umuahia. Your final choice of profession was driving. With this, you retired from ASEPA.

With music and songs, you were well blessed. You remained the music and choir leader in the Assemblies of God Jerusalem District through your lifetime, and the Almighty God did not fail to reward your faithfulness in this ministry.

You will always be missed in the entire Jerusalem District of the Assemblies of God Church and the Kwekowe’s family.

Sleep on De-Nwokoma, De Christian, Kwekowe, till we meet in Beulahland.

Dee nwoke oma, your sudden demise is still unbelievable,we sincerely love you but God your maker and creator loves you most. We submit totally to God's will.
Though shadows deepens and our heart bleeds,we will not question the way God leads, this side of heaven we know in parts,we will understand it better bye and bye.
You have join the saints triumphantly to be singing melodious songs which is what you cherish most while on earth.
Sleep on in the Bossom of him who loves you best till the resurrection morning when we will meet to part no more.
