I have visited this site numerous times before but never left a message, I suppose because I have been in shock and disbelief that Laurie is no longer with us. We were childhood friends who met our freshman year of high school. We lived together at SDSU. We worked together at Carrow's in San Diego. She would call me "Pikky" and I would call her "Rippy" and then we would always laugh. To Gary and Kathy, I loved Laurie. I'm just so sorry her life ended so soon. I think of her often and always remember her in my prayers.
