He moved to California in 1976.
 
Leroy was a computer programmer who enjoyed astronomy as well as studying and trading stocks.

Leroy joined the Army after High School and served in the 5th US Army Medical Lab in St. Louis, MO.

He graduated with a degree in Technical Chemistry from Boys Technical High School and studied math and computers in college. 

Leroy was born on September 9, 1943 at 2:57pm in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Leroy and Elaine Britton. He weighed 7lb, 1oz and was 18.5 inches long.
