This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Linda Sturgess, 61, born on December 21, 1951 and passed away on December 27, 2012. We will remember her forever.

Born In High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire UK. Mother and Father, Irene & Percy Besley, Percy sadly passed away in 1960.  They lived in School Way, Loudwater. Linda married me (Tony) on 14th February 1980. Together we raised 2 sons; James, born 14th May 1982 and Aaron, born 17th September 1985. We moved to Marlow in 1985 where we are now. Linda worked as a Learning Support Assistant in a local Marlow primary school. She was very well liked by the children, parents and the staff. The school closed on the day of the funeral resulting in a big turnout at the funeral of colleagues and families from the school as well as all the close family. Sadly Linda didn't get to see Aaron marry Nicole in April 2013 or the birth of their first child in September, Renée Amelia Linda Sturgess. Aaron and Nicole second girl, Arabella Evelyn May, was born on 14th May 2015 the same day as James' birthday. May 15th that year was also my (Tony) fathers funeral, Gordon William Sturgess which Nicole could not attend as she was still in the Maternity unit with Arabella. Aaron and Nicole have now another girl, Mila Leonie Nelly Sturgess born September 19th 2018, 8.16lbs. Oh how Linda would have loved 3 grand daughters.

Exactly one year today, I visited the grave to check on the Flowers we put there on Linda's birthday, they were fine. I then went to the Crematorium to view the Book of Remembrance for the first time. The picture of Jessie, our westie, is superb and looks ideal next to the words in the book, Linda would love it and I'm sure she knows. I spent the day with Aaron, Nicole and Renée, we went to Toys-r-Us in Reading which reminded me of all the visits Linda and I did for our two boys when they were young. Such a wonderful day for all of us. Lots of Love Linda, miss you loads. XXX.

When I look at your lovely photos I still can't believe I won't see your smiling face at St. Peter's or around Marlow. It seems like such a short time since we worked together and yet a year has nearly gone by. I miss you, I miss your company and our chats and how you always thought of others and what you could do to help them. You were one of the world's givers and have left a huge space in so many people's lives.

Westlife - My Love.
Listen here:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulOb9gIGGd0

lyrics :-

An empty street
An empty house
A hole inside my heart
I'm all alone
The rooms are getting smaller
I wonder how
I wonder why
I wonder where they are
The days we had
The songs we sang together
Oh yeah
And all my love
We're holding on forever
Reaching for the love that seems so far

So I say a little prayer
Hope my dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again my love
All the seas go coast to coast
Find the place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again my love

I tried to read
I go to work
I'm laughing with my friends
But I can't stop
To keep myself from thinking

Oh no
I wonder how
I wonder why
I wonder where they are
The days we had
The songs we sang together
Oh yeah
And all my love
We're holding on forever
Reaching for the love that seems so far

So I say a little prayer
Hope my dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again my love
All the seas go coast to coast
Find the place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again

To hold you in my arms
To promise you my love
To tell you from my heart
You're all I'm thinking of
Reaching for the love that seems so far

So so I say a little prayer
Hope my dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again my love
All the seas go coast to coast
Find the place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again my love
See you in a prayer
Dreams will take me there
Where the skies are blue
To see you once again my love
All the seas go coast to coast
Find the place I love the most
Where the fields are green
To see you once again my love

Looking at these lovely photos it's hard to believe you are not about to phone for a chat or meet for a coffee. I lit you a candle in St Peter's after I had finished the church cleaning last Monday, bet that made you smile !
