This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Lorne Tollofson, 73, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15th, surrounded by family, at the Rekai Centre Wellesley Central Place, after struggling with neurological illness. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Christopher K. Sun for his assistance.

A memorial service will be held at the Centennial Park Conservatory in Etobicoke, Ontario on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:30am.   Lorne's ashes will be buried alongside the Sugar Maple that has been planted in his memory.   Please RSVP to Ryan Tollofson at ryan@tollofson.com if you wish to attend.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to The 519 Community Centre in Toronto, Ontario.  We also encourage you to share pictures or stories you may have on this memorial.

Ryan, I'm sorry you lost your Dad. You supported and worked tirelessly on his behalf as he suffered through his terrible neurological disease. He is no longer suffering and I pray that he is now at peace.....Mom xo

Dear Ryan and family, I was fortunate to have known your dad, his frankness and sense of humour. His legacy continues in you, celebrate it! Thank you for sharing all the pictures. Much love, Rod

Dear Ryan: My deepest sympathies to you and yours. I think I only met your dad once, I think at an art exhibit in the early 2000s, and I felt there was some of him in you. I love the album you put up -- he seemed to have lived his life to the fullest! Big hugs xox. Nha-Thy
