Graduating

October 19, 2019
The end months were very difficult for me and I can not even imagine how it could of been for her. I am sure it was a very difficult time for everyone involved.

Mom had been in the Assisted Living facility for a couple weeks and I had graduated from college. On the spur of the moment I went to see her and brought the cap and robe I used when I walked across the stage to get my degree. I walked into the room and her face lit up. "Will you look at my son" she exclaimed and just for a moment, everyone was the happiest they could be.

I would not hear those words come out of her mouth again but for that moment, I made my Mother smile and give her something to be proud of. Love and Miss Her So Very Much.
