It's with unspeakable sadness that we share the news of Lucille Redd's passing on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 4:30 PM.

In her vision, her timing couldn't have been more appropriate. She'd just had her toenails painted red, her hair sprayed up, and her Coco Chanel glitter lotion reapplied. Such was her usual Friday afternoon ritual just prior to heading to the North Franklin Volunteer Firehall for bingo. She's on a different journey this Friday, but knowing the luck of this Irishwoman, she'll hit the jackpot with St. Peter -- all in time for St. Patrick's Day.

Wow, do I ever miss her. I think of so very often and all the great times we shared. She was not only my cousin but my best friend for many years. When I think of her it always brings a smile to my face as we had so many good times together. I just saw Kim and Tim last week and she would be so proud of them. Love you and miss you. Until I see you again...

Such wonderful pictures, great to see all 3 of you very happy and having fun. Cherish those memories and remember your Mom forever that way because that would be the way she would want it. You will be missed Lucille...

My dearest cousin, I will always love you and miss you tremendously, but I do have so many good memories of you to hold on to. We did a lot of things together and went a lot of places and shared so many things. I remember at the fair always buying food and sharing so we could experience more variety of the great food there, and Friday night bingo and sometimes Eat N' Park afterward.

What beautiful memories I have of Lucille cooking for the seniors at Laboratory Presbyterian Church. Her wonderful smile and great sense of humor will be missed by all who loved her. Rest in Peace Lucillle. Pete, Rondala and Emily Wright

Kim & Tim, your Mom was very proud of her children and she loved you both so much and you returned that love ten times over. You both have a lot of good memories and I know that she will be missed but a blessing that she is cancer free. Joe, Sharon & McKenna
