Miss you Lyn, I was thinking today you’d be getting your old age pension soon. Your plans to retire to Italy, where did the years go can’t believe it’s fifteen already, we would have had so much fun now all the lads reared more free time we could have had lots of holidays and more donkeys fish and chips !! Love you always wishing you were here ❤️

Hi Lyn, thinking of you today and can't believe you are gone 15 years.
It's a nice spring day here, a bit cold.
Winter is slowly leaving us and we are getting more light in the evenings now.

An aspiration in memory of Lynn.
"Be careful what you water your dreams with.
Water them with fear and worry and they will produce weeds that choke the life from your dreams.
Water them with optism and solutions and you will cultivate success.
Missing you, Annie.X

The coming of wisdom with time.
Though the leaves are many, the root is one,
Through all the lying days of my youth,
I swayed my leaves and flowers in the sun,
Now I may wither into the truth.

A friend should be radical
She should love you when you're unlovable
Hug you when you're unhuggable
And bear you when you're unbearable.
A friend should be fanatical
She should cheer when the whole world boos
Dance when you get good news
And cry when you cry too.
YOU WERE ALL THE ABOVE LYN, MISS YOU FOREVER XXXXXXX

"Stop the clocks"

Shared by Pauline Stanton on October 13, 2011

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone, Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bonel, Silence the pianos and with muffled drum Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come. Let the aeroplanes circle, moaning overhead Scribbling on the sky the message 'He is Dead'. Put crepe bows 'round the white necks of the public doves, Let traffic policemen wear black, cotton gloves. He was my North, my South, my East, and West. My working week and my Sunday rest, My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song; I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong. The stars are not wanted now; put out every one, Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun, Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood; For nothing now can ever come to any good."

Plonc

Shared by Pauline Stanton on October 13, 2011

Many evenings while I was living with you we would sit after my homework and have the (odd) glass of plonc and just chat. sometimes neil or Priscilla would come over and the laughs we would have. later on in the evening we would have our favourite toasted pitta with cheese and crisps...yummy!!!  You helped me so much and gave me so much of your time, like I was one of your own. You never shouted at me, even when I did take the piss..never, it wasnt in you.  Even when myself and Aine D went off in a car with a few lads and they crashed it into a tree, even then you just laughed at me and said "Pol, you silly girl".  Its not the same sat here talking about you, when I could be talking to you. So many of us miss you, especially Meg. I know you are there and it helps, but a hug and that smile would make all things better.  I miss you and I hope you are taking care of everyone up there.  talk to you soon xxxx
