This memorial website has been created to celebrate the life of one of Africa's and the world's iconic freedom fighter, liberator, democrat, hero, moral compass and South Africa's symbol of the struggle against racial oppression; President NELSON R. MANDELA, who emerged from prison after 27 years to lead his country out of decades of apartheid. He died at a ripe old age of 95, born on July 18, 1918 and passed away on December 5, 2013. He shall forever remain in our hearts.
