It's been a year, already ~ but really seems longer. I am back working at Lake Aurora Christian Camp and I'm back "home" but it's just not the same without Charles & Mae here. Part of their spirit will always be here. I miss sitting on their porch with Bob and just talking about whatever. They were special to be with and such dear, dear friends. I'll be forever grateful to have had them in my life. I love you Ms Mae, and Charles, too!!!

Mae Romans ~ a beautiful lady full of grace & love & compassion. Her life was a testimony of her love of God. She was always supporting Charles in whatever his project was at the time ~ his service to our Country, raising rabbits, running the Lake Aurora train all over Florida, playing music. Buddy, Tonya & Family my prayers for strength comfort. & peace are with you all. I love you.

Ms Mae was such a sweet lady, she always had a kind word for everyone. The one thing I will always remember about Ms Mae is our love of pretty shoes! Though she could no longer wear high heeled shoes she always wanted to see what shoes I had on that Sunday. And I never wanted to disappoint her. I will always hold that memory close, enjoy all those beautiful shoes you can wear again. ♥
