A tribute to my Grandmother:
This a post that is difficult for me to write…
Recently, I just lost my beloved grandmother who passed away on 18th Feb 2023 of illness and we will miss her terribly.
She was one special lady and the loss of her is felt by many deeply even though she lived a full life.
The love of a grandmother is unique.
God must have given grandmother to us to liven up our lives, to make our lives more complete, to make us well rounded and better human beings.
I will miss my grandmother, but her spirit and strength lives on in each of us and in the lives that she touched. She lives up in me and all those who have been touched by the love, strength, wisdom, and beauty of her soul.
Wherever you are, I know you are in a much better place. I will forever be grateful and thankful that you are my “grandmother “.
Rest in peace grandmother…we will never forget you and we will always love you forever…

*Tribute to my dearest mother*

I don't think I can ever be ready to accept the fact that you have passed on to the great beyond.

My mother, my first love. My prayer warrior, my true confidant, my call machine. Even the network you use in checking up on us will miss you.
How can I live a day
without hearing your voice? Talking every day was our daily routine. Hmm! , God knows best.

Mummy you were the true picture of motherhood.( Abiyamo tooto, Ezinne) you raise all your children in the way of the the Lord.
You taught us character, love, hardwork and respect for all.

Mum you were not skilled with pen and paper but your zeal, preservarance, hardworking, and business skills combine with your role as a mother and wife surpassed understanding.

When smells of delicacies meant nothing in your mouth and every drop of spices become a struggle to swallow, I wept in secret and prayed the good Lord to restore your days.

When the doctors gave their verdict that all we need was divine intervention.

How I wish I could breathe life into you.
But it pleases your maker to grant you enternal rest

Rest from the pains of this world and be free from the troubles of this life.

Your home is glory.
Rest till we meet on that glorious morning.
I love you mum.

TRIBUTE TO MY MOM, THE BEST MOTHER IN THE UNIVERSE.

Words failed me when I sat down to think of what to put down as tribute to my Heroine, because she was my mirror in life.

I still can't absolutely believe that you'll be away in a very long time now hence, it will take almost my entire life to put you in Loving memory.

I can confidently prove it to the world that my mom was a perfect example of a wife material, virtuous woman full of understanding and God-fearing, a caring and loving mother with so much admirable legacies.

Her friendliness and generousity was loved by all including the abokis/ Hausas as she fondly speaks their language fluently.

In the recent years back, you encouraged me to get married and start rasing kids while you're still alive so that you can witness my kids growing, I'm glad that expectation came to pass before your demise (even as it's just my first born). I know you will be happy over there to have achieved that request.

Well, i wish I had the ability to keep you alive and healthy for a longer time more (because your presence alone is more than Joy to my soul), but for the endearing pains and troubles in this world, I'm glad you're free now and resting on the right hand of God till we meet again to part no more.

I'm happy and grateful I came to this world through you, your loving, resilient and diligent nature lives in me. I will forever miss you mom as your legacies lives on.

KEEP RESTING WELL, MY DARLING MOM

*Tribute to my loving mom*

Mom i knew you were gone when you appeared to me in my dream with an endearing embrace the very day you passed on, i couldn’t understand why. It only occurred to me when i was told of your demised, in the early morning of that day. I now understood It was you saying Goodbye.

Dear mom, I wish I could make things better and never have to go away for so long. But circumstances beyond my control caused it, and I know you understand.

I choose to
remember you growing up as a loving mom, ever caring, hard worker, always on the grind doing different trades, just so we your children could eat, cloth and get education. You were always there for us no matter the circumstances, always want the best for us.

Death has taken your body.
You soul has returned to the lord.
My mind will always hold the memories.
My heart will always keep the love.
My faith let me know we’ll meet again.

Fare thee well, mum.

It cannot be goodbye, it is goodnight and see you later on the other side with God.

Jee nke oma Ezinne.
