Funeral service: Friday March 7th
Keeney United Methodist Church West Point GA.,  Time:  2:00 pm

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 6th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 315 E. 8th St., West Point, GA.

Interment: Marseilles Cemetery

The family welcomes flowers as well as contributions to the Keeney United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund.

Daddy this year in March will make 8 years since your departure from your human form. I miss you so much. The saying time heals all wounds is a myth. Time only makes it somewhat easier to bear. Your grandson will be 21 this year and he misses you tremendously!!! He has undergone 2 surgeries and he just needs you here as well as I do. Happy Birthday Daddy!!! Love always and forever!!!

Daddy I miss you so much!!!! Some days I don't know how I'm going to carry-on and then I remember your strength and I am able to continue. Not a day goes by that I don't wish you were here. However I know the God we serve makes no mistakes and he needed you. Forever your "gal" I love you!!!

Dad today marks 2 years since you've been gone. I know time is supposed to heal all wounds but each passing day this loss gets harder to bear. Dad I miss you so much and I feel so empty knowing I can't hear your voice.

Deedee, I am so sorry about the loss of your brother. I think of you often. I have many fond memories of you and your dear mother. I remember when Gloria sang and I played for your wedding and your taking piano from me. And Lizzie was so special to all my family. I also remember Jessie and Chanie. Very special family.              May the peace of our Lord be with you and your family and guide you all.

What hurts the most is letting go but I know you are in a better place and looking down on me. Rest in peace and save a seat for me. I hope to get to where you are one day. Daddy I never thought this day would come. I cannot help but feel that you are gone to soon. I know that God makes no mistakes but it doesn't make it any easier. I am so humble and grateful to have had you as a father and grandfather to Bre'Lan. Until the day we meet again I know that you will continue to watch over us in Heaven as you did here on Earth.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family on your loss, Major was a very kind person with a great personality, I know that he will be missed by all especially by all of you, but please be assured that we can hope to see Major again according to the Bible says @ Acts 24:15 & John 5:28 &29, those words are most reassuring as we continue to cope from day to day. My prayers are that you continue to be of good cheer.
