OLUWATOYIN OYEWALE
I blessed the Name of God in the life of my father Reverend Manasseh. O. Akintoye for the life been spent and lived in Christ. When I heard that daddy died, my heart fainted because I will not lie you, it's was a sad news to me and I couldn't believe that daddy can die so early like this; I knew daddy when I was 12yrs plus and now am forty yrs plus. And have not once regretted that I knew him. Reverend was the one that introduced Jesus Christ to my parent bcos we're purely a Muslim family but through daddy Christ was known to my entire family, I must says the true that Rev. was our family messiah. Despite, we have grown-up now Rev. intimacy with my entire family didn't stop for a second. Whenever i called him the first thing He will say is 'ADARA FUN É' my daughter and he is the person that do called me by my full name OLUWATOYIN. When there's no nothing Rev. taught me on how to be bold, focused and stand firmly in times of challenges. Rev. is really a father, a grandpa, a leader, a mentor and an achiever. Whenever daddy started something he will make sure that the thing started well and end it up well that is what makes me call him an achiever.I really bless the Name of God concerning daddy's life , that despite the intimidations challenges, conspiracy daddy fought and won and slept in thy Lord. Reverend proclaimed the gospel to the extent that his name can never be erased on the face of the earth. And after his exit I didn't hear of it that: it is 'OGBONI'S or AWO'S that want to bury my Adorable Reverend ; An excellent unforgettable Grandpa. Am called him Grandpa bcos he has a lots of spiritual children. The people of God say GREAT JESUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT
Forever, your memory will always be fresh in my brain.
GOOD NIGHT♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ DADDY.

BADE ISOLA OSOBUKOLA
It's difficult to bid farewell to a remarkable man of faith and a cherished uncle in law. However, we find solace in celebrating a life that touched countless hearts and inspired many. Reverend Manesseh Olabanji Akintoye's journey on this earth was one of unwavering devotion, selflessness, and boundless love. As we reflect on the profound impact he had on each of our lives, we are reminded of the extraordinary legacy he leaves behind.

Reverend Akintoye was not merely a clergyman; he was a beacon of hope, a pillar of strength, and a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing him. His passion for spreading the teachings of compassion, forgiveness, and understanding knew no bounds. Whether delivering sermons from the pulpit or offering words of wisdom in private counsel, he had a rare gift for touching souls and uplifting spirits.

Beyond his role as a spiritual leader, Reverend Akitoye was also a beloved uncle- in- law (by virtue of being married to my mother's sister) whose presence brought warmth and joy to family gatherings. His gentle demeanor, infectious laughter, and genuine interest in the lives of others endeared him to everyone he met. Whether sharing stories when you are around him or offering words of encouragement during challenging times, he had a way of making each of us feel valued and loved.

Throughout his life, Reverend Akintoye faced numerous trials and tribulations, yet he remained steadfast in his faith and unwavering in his commitment to serving others. His resilience in the face of adversity and his ability to find strength in the midst of hardship served as a powerful example to us all.

As we bid daddy as we fondly call him farewell, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Though he may no longer walk among us, his legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire us to live our lives with purpose and faith.

To our beloved daddy and reverend, we say thank you for the countless blessings you bestowed upon us, for the wisdom you imparted, and for the love you shared so generously. Though you may be gone from this earth, your memory will forever remain etched in our hearts.

Rest in peace, God's General knowing that your life was a blessing to us all. Until we meet again in the arms of our Heavenly Father, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Barr. Bukola Haastrup-Ashagidigbi & family.

As I write this tribute, my heart is heavy with grief, yet also swell with gratitude for the blessing that was Rev Akintoye’s life and ministry among us. As my spiritual father, he was a shepherd in the truest sense. He guided us with wisdom, cared for us with a tender heart and led us with a humble spirit.
He was much more than a preacher behind the pulpit. He was a constant presence in our lives, sharing in our joys, comforting us in our sorrows and walking alongside us in our journeys of life and faith. His office door was always open, his phone always on and his heart always ready to listen.
Rev Akintoye was a loyal friend and gift from God to my family and he's an immense loss to us all.
To our beloved pastor and friend,
Thank you for the immeasurable impact you have had on our lives. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now, a crown of righteousness awaits you.

I still can't come to term that you have left us with all your consistent effort on everyone in the extended family just to make sure we are making progress. One of your most profound words that can't leave me in a hurry: "whatever you can't do with your black hair will be done with your gray hair, maximize time my son" you never believe success is unachievable...Daddy if am let to write about you as one who knew me from birth, I can't exhaust them here but one thing I know your love, humility and unusual sacrifice will keep us going .....rest on till we meet at the feet of Great Jesus who called you home to a bigger mansion...Love U & Mummy..thanks for being a role model Sir

Hummmm not in my widest taught will I believe I will be typing a tribute to Daddy Akintoye!!!!(so early) I joined this Glorious Commission through a tailor friend around the street during COVID-19. I was just jokingly playing with the tailor that I am newly married to this area, and I want a church that posses the true SPRIT OF GOD. She then describe the address for me and the rest is history. From the very first worship I knew I was in the right place. You mentored not only me but my family members too. You speak nothing more than TRUTH, not money conscious, contented with everything. Just for the few times I have spent with you....indeed you showed me that only GOD can do what no man can't do, my Christian life changed from NO FAITH to BELIEVER OF FAITH and indeed it's working for me. The handkerchief you gave me on one of the Sunday prayers (after church) is still with me. I promise to value it and use it to perform miracles ( in faith). God please comfort the beautiful wife, children and the entire AGC members in Jesus might

I was like, why am I scared but this man do come to my working place, there is no day daddy will come to my place of work that daddy do not bless me even give me money, even do as we are not expected to receive money from customers then, my dad will run to him , he will pray I lost hope thinking my enemy will end up in prison, the case started from June 2022 going to court, adjoining the case, my dad will call Rev again daddy will tell him not to worry, all I hold on to is the faith of not to worry everything will be fine, my boss tried all is best to send me and other staff to prison. But among my colleague I was free , I lost my work, things was not going well the way it was before , I was down and broke , I went back to my cloth business it was going but not as I expect it, I rush to daddy , complain, he told me not to miss the 3 days revival coming up which I obey the third day I went to meet daddy and he prayed for me and he said all my lost will come back I will see a new job, and I believe bcos there is nothing daddy say that never come to past. And to my surprise I was going home with my sister, I got another job, and am doing well, even when I lost my dad, daddy stood by me, despite what the family show, I will call dad, cry, he will tell me to come, calm me down, pray for me still give me money, I will be like I should be the one to give him money , he will just laugh . Daddy never for ones make me feel I don't have a father, in the midnight that I will be sleeping daddy will be busy praying for me and my sister's, if daddy should call me in the midnight is voice will still be active and strong, DADDY THE GENERAL HIMSELF.

My Daddy in the Lord, a great prophet of God Rev. Manasseh Olabanji Akintoye, accommodating, supporting, encouraging, and an excellent example of Christ, though you have been saying this in parables but I didn't know it would come earlier. Since I gave my life to Christ through your ministry I have never regret or disappointed a selfless angel in human form. You made me know all was given freely by Christ and we can command in Jesus name and it will come to pass and so it has been. I have never come across any prophet that use his personal assets to do the work of God. You are excellent in and out and perfectly to be missed but with total submission to the WILL of God Almighty. Even when you looked tired , you never show it, you respond to every one with humility and you never discriminate or look down on anyone. Your faithfulness and sacrifice to work of God will never be forgotten. Your death came as a rude news but I am glad to celebrate your exit in Christ Jesus and I am glad Heaven has gained an angel. I will forever missed you Sir. Adieu Prophet Manasseh Reverend Olabanji Akintoye.

In loving and sacred memory of my father, Reverend Manasseh Akintoye. I have told as many as are around me about how daddy gave me the first bible i ever had as a born again. I received the gift of the holyghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues under daddy's ministration at one second holyghost sunday like that. As a young believer then, i was always interrogating daddy about my new found faith and HE NEVER FOR ONCE GOT TIRED of the times he was always giving. I cannot forget bible study times. They were moments i used to await because daddy was always teaching the mind of God because i kept growing. Daddy laboured and 'tarried' for His lord and now, His Lord has finally come. I am very pained and at the same time, glad because Daddy has gone to be with His Lord and a part of the cloud of witnesses, cheering us up here on earth as we carry put the will of the Father. I can write a thousand words again and again just to express a little of my mind but i will drop my pen here. Daddy, you forever remain in our hearts, Sir. I love you, daddy.

In blessed memory of my father in the Lord. Rev. Manasseh Olabanji Akintoye.

In fact, I'm short of words, because if I should start typing, it won't want to stop.
Daddy wasn't just a pastor or prophet to me, he was my father and he took me as his daughter.
This soul typing is still alive because daddy allowed God to use him for me. I'm happy you took up the assignment God gave you and you completed it. It's not just completing it, you finished victoriously. You taught us and showed us the way to Christ. You left a good legacy for us. You're always there for us in every area we need your help. Ah, daddy, you're not easily forgotten.
Thank you for not giving up on God's work and on us.
I believe that your spirit still remains with us.
Your lovely daughter

Infact, I'm short of words I don't know what to say. Is it prayers? You are very good in it, is it fasting? You are too awesome, is it giving? Ooooh you are the best. Thank you for always being there for me. Anytime you pray I'm always at peace and rest assured knowing that there is power and authority in your tongue. You made my faith in God stronger especially in the last Bible study before your demise where you expatiated more on faith. I love you daddy and I'll always continue to love you ❤️❤️❤️. Reverend OLABANJI AKINTOYE was a rear mentor who stood by the truth till death.
Personally, I missed you for your comforting words in times of trials and temptations.
Always yelling even though things have not changed.
A real prophet of faith who believed and trusted in Great Jesus to the end.
It is obvious that the Hallelujah that ushered you into the bossom of God Almighty is what you are shouting now and you will continue to shout it till eternity.
Gudnite Great Man of God.
A co-servant in the Vineyard.

Tribute to Rev. Akintoye: Remembering a Remarkable Mentor and Friend

May 10
With a heavy heart, I write this tribute to Rev. Olabanji Akintoye a man who was not just a father figure but a true mentor, guide, and friend to me. His passing has left a void in my life that cannot be filled, but I take solace in the fact that he lived a life full of purpose and meaning and that he made a positive difference in the lives of so many people. Rev. Akintoye was a constant source of inspiration and guidance in my life. He was always there to listen, to offer advice, and to provide a shoulder to lean on. He stepped into my father's shoes and was a constant presence in my life, guiding me through the ups and downs and always offering support and encouragement. What I appreciated most about Rev. Akintoye was his kindness, wisdom, and love. He had a way of making everyone feel special and valued, and his words of wisdom have stayed with me throughout my life. He taught me the importance of living a life of purpose, of treating others with kindness and respect, and of always striving to be the best version of myself. Although he is no longer with us, I will always cherish the memories and lessons that Rev. Akintoye taught me. He was a truly remarkable human being, and I feel blessed to have known him. Rest in peace, Rev. Akintoye . You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on forever.
