Maria R. Cerrone Forrest Boyd passed away on April 5, 2024 after a brief illness.
Maria was born on August 15, 1945 in Naples, Italy to Rosa Cerrone and John Forrest.
Maria, a long time resident of Memphis, was an expert chef in the kitchen especially with Italian cuisine. Her home was always immaculate and well-decorated and we were quite proud of her talents.
For several decades,she worked as a medical assistant in a variety of practices. Maria was very caring and loved her patients. In turn, her patients adored her and kept in touch even after her retirement.
Maria is survived by her two daughters, Rose and Stephanie; two sisters, Johnnis and Javita; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
