I know your birthday has passed, but it’s taken me awhile to think of what I’d like to tell you....100 years, WOW! You and my mom would be the same age. As we go through a very scary time in 2020, I think of what you have had to endure in your lifetime. Through much more than we’re dealing with, you survived with grace and humor. You are a true inspiration and remind me that, no matter what, a smile and kindness will get us through.
Thank you for giving me a husband I love and a new family to add to my own. May we meet again one day. Love!

Mom,

I miss you so very much and always thought we would be remembering this birthday together.......sharing your Irish humor along with a "very large" glass of Baileys. Well, your 100th birthday didn't work out the way we had it planned but I want you to know........

That I continue to miss your beautiful smile and endless pool of wisdom.

That your heart of gold and almost a century’s worth of knowledge and experiences made you the most extraordinary person in my life.

That you made me rise to heights nobody thought possible.

How much I appreciate you always being there for me through the good, the bad, the happiness and the sorrow!

How much your love and support helped me stay alive after Bev's death!

Most of all....I want you to know how much I love you!

Happy "100th" Birthday Mom!

All my love for eternity,
Michael

Happy Birthday, Grandmom! Thinking of you today on what would have been your 100th birthday. I remember how much you talked about wanting to celebrate this day, it would have been amazing. Even though you're not here physically, your spirit is always with us. I miss you and love you.

Much love always, Sharon

Never forgotten, Michael and I speak of you often. You were such an important influence in our lives! I am honored to be your daughter-in-law. And I know you would love seeing Michael as the incredible step father and granddad he’s become! I am trying to keep all the promises I made to you. Hoping we truly will meet again one day.

Mom,

Another year without you has passed and I want you to know that I miss you and think of you daily. Every time I find a penny on the ground I think you're trying to communicate with me and I've been finding them more frequently this year. So, if you're trying I'm listening, something you know I've never been good at, and would give anything to hear your voice.
Sue and I are doing well and I'm sure you would love to see me in my new roll as "Michael Pop". Wow!!! Go figure....I have four granddaughters!! I wish I knew how to do your puppet act for them.
I love you and miss you every day.
All my love always,
Michael Pop

We have a photo of us on the porch at one of the many get togethers and it always evokes great memories.
We remember you very often and very fondly.

Happy birthday, Eileen!
You know, this is also my older brother’s birthday. I never forget.
We think of you often and remember all the fun times we’ve had together. The only regret is that we didn’t have more time.
Love you,

Mom,
It's a beautiful day here in Florida and as I look around I'm reminded of just how much I loved celebrating your birthday......it meant Fall was just around the corner and cooler weather was on the way!
Sue and I are doing well and we'll celebrate your life today with an Irish joke and a glass of Baileys!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
I love and miss you so very much.
Love always and forever,
Michael

Grandmom,
I read all the posts on here from the past 6 years yesterday and shed some tears. I was hesitant about posting anything, because there’s just SO much that has happened the past 6 years that I wish you were here for, I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Amari getting older, I have a daughter Camilla that I wish you would’ve had the chance to meet. She would have loved you so much, and you would’ve gotten a kick out of her, and getting married to my best friend. Before I left the page yesterday I asked for any kind of sign that you were watching over my babies, and then in the car while driving, a Cardinal flew right in front of us with them in the car. That was all the confirmation I needed that your energy is around us watching over them. You will always be missed.

Eileen,
It's hard to believe you have been gone 6 years. We first met when I was about 9 years old. I have so many memories of you, all of them leave me with a smile. You were a wonderful woman, strong, loving, smart, and beautiful. I am so glad that Sharon and Brett had you. You were an amazing and incredible Grandmother. I think of you often, always with warmth and fond memories.

Mom,
There is so much that I wish we could speak about today. There’s not a day that passes that I don’t think about you, Bev and Bruce.
I miss you and there’s nothing I can do to make the pain I feel go away!! I want you to know how fortunate it was for me to meet Sue because I’m sure I would not be alive now were it not for her. Lightning actually struck three times for me.....
You.......Beverly....... and Sue!
I love so very much!
Love,
Michael

Grandmom,
I wish you knew how I carry you with me always, everywhere I go. To the stories I still share with the kids, to the fun things I do with our grandkids that you used to do with Brett and I, to how I pause and think about what you would do in a tough situation. I miss you every single day (especially hearing your laugh) but I find some comfort in knowing your life and legacy will never die, it's being passed on to the next generations.
Much love always, Sharon

We miss you dearly Aunt Eileen. It's always fun when the family gets together, but it's just not the same without you. Thankfully we all have memories to share and stories to tell which help us remember what a wonderful, loving person you were.

Eileen we really miss you. I'd love to see another note, "Paul, Got a minute". We'd love to stop and chat on the porch and share your energy for any number of different topics. We keep in touch with the family and each and every day you remain near to us as we glance at a painting Michael shared with us that Fred had done. You are no longer tangible but what a wonderful spirit you have left with us all.
Posted by Mary Valente on July 3, 2014
Sister dear, life is not the same without you. We shared so many happy times together, especially the trips visiting our families . And of course reminiscing about life together over the many by gone years, the good times and maybe a few bad ones. Still, you will always with me.
Posted by Sue Pyne on July 3, 2014
I wish I'd had more time with you. It was easy to love you in only 5 short years! You are missed by many, especially Michael and me. You would be proud of all he's done in your memory.

Mom,

I wish you were here to see all the wonderful things, some of which you were a part of, that are going on at GCC. You may no longer walk the halls but your memorial, in the new University Center, will allow you to be there for eternity.

I love you and miss hearing your happy voice and positive outlook everyday.

All my love,
Michael

PS....You and grandmom were right!

My heart goes out to the Sharp family. She gave so much to her family, friends, and community. She was truly an inspiration and the world is a much sadder place without her and Bruce.
