It's funny how we write these as if you have something in heaven that allows you to read these posts. Everyone knows the internet doesn't reach that far.
I wanted to hear your laugh at that just now. Your sense of humor always made me laugh. I am hoping that what happens when I type here, you are actually sitting next to me as I type, saying something encouraging and happy I stopped by. One of my favorite memories was of when you and I went shopping for a tackle box for my flute repair supplies, and me imagining how it might have felt for you, getting a tackle box for your daughter-in-law. Weird, cool, different? I miss you Marsh. Love, Deb
Thinking of you the past few days, quick to share an anecdote with my co-workers of what a great dad and father you were. Every time I see a canoe I instantly think of you. All of us children and grandchildren were blessed to have you guide us and lead by example.
Love, Rick
We are thinking of you today. We are remembering all the good times we shared. I remember the time I watched you put things together and you teaching me. Tink

I just left Betty a note about how to grow a tomato from a seedling plant. Maybe both of you could send me some advice? I miss you.

This year I have a back yard patio for the first time. It's not a garden yet because I don't have anything to plant. I wish I could do a spring garden shopping with you and Betty. You would know just the thing! I miss you very much!

We are thinking about you today. The maple tree is very tall and starting to bud . What started as a skinny stick when you and Bill planted it turned in to a mighty maple. The birds and squirrels also enjoy the tree. We love you and miss you.

Happy Anniversary, Marsh. Thinking of you today on what would have been our 59th anniversary. What wonderful memories I have of our wedding and the wonderful years we had together. My love always. Betty
Despite working long hours, you always managed to find time to spend with us: teaching us tennis, bowling, and golf; taking us camping or canoeing; or taking us on a vacation. You exemplified a perfect dad: putting your family first, all awhile demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Thanks for being such a strong role model in my life.

You were an amazing man. I enjoyed our time together. I always looked foward to our time together reading the paper, playing bingo, listening to music, or talking. You were always so kind and loving. To your wonderful family. May God bless you and give you peace during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing your father and husband with us. We loved him.

Fun Memories
Was thinking back to all the wonderful things you did and thought about these three. Making a homemade certificate for me when I struck out the side in a little league game. You and Bumpa taking me to Yankee Stadium for my first game. You buying soda cans for our Lincoln Jr High basketball team to celebrate in the locker room after we won the championship . Love you Dad
special memories of dad
I saw a cardinal today and thought of how dad enjoyed watching and listening to the birds. At Pine Lake we went on a canoe trip in the early morning and just enjoyed the sounds of the lake. From the birds flying above, critters on the shore, fish jumping it was so peaceful. Until I started talking about the things that I saw just in case he didn't see them :) I'm so grateful to have those special memories. Thank you dad.
Love, Cathy
