When mom was little her brother told her she could jump off of the barn shed with an opened umbrella and fly like Mary Poppins. He has recently appologized to her for that!

as teenagers alot of cousins would stay over at our house over the summer months. Bobby and Denelle were always arguing because mom wouldnt hear the bad words Denelle would say, but she could hear bobby a mile away and she would say "I heard that!"  poor Bobby!

recently mom picked up a catch phrase "but aint I so cute?" she would say this to get out of situations lol

When I was a teenager, we were taking clothes to good will and some fell out onto the street at 5 points (South street) on the way back home we realized what happened and noticed a bra in the middle of the street from then on she dubbed it "bra corner"

Mom and a previous boyfrind used to collect aluminum cans it was sort of a hobby. One day (in the 80s) she stopped the car and made Eli get out to get a can right under a wire fence...it turned out it was an electric fence and Eli got a little bit shocked, came back to the car and said heres your damn can lol it really was funny maybe uyou just had to be there
