I knew Matt  since first grade.  I got injuried on the play ground. Matt was much bigger than me and he pick me up and carried me 100 yards or so up to the C-4 school back doors! He was the class clown in grade school.  We used to talk on the phone after school at C-4 sometimes on an old rotary phone with cords!  He was a great high school track teammate.  Very supportive. Our senior year after we won the state meet he told me how he figured beforehand how we would win. He had predicted how I would perform winning the 3200m and 3rd in the 1600. Which I did.And possibly other teammates!  He knew his teammates and their abilities! I will never forget you Matt! May God bless your family!
