Mum was born in Kaiapoi the second daughter of Mary and Joseph Williams and she lived in Darnely square.
As a child she was badly burnt but it never stopped her from living a full and mainly happy life. After her first marriage failed she married my dad and together with her son Graeme she and my dad raised two more children a son and daughter.
the house was filled with love and laughter and I have so happy memories of my childhood.
Mum worked at the races and for burkes and garden city caterers to help dad establish his mechanical garage.
Although they worked hard they always had time for us and you might say we had a very special family who would forever be family orientated.
Mum adored dad and he adored her in return. They gathered many friends over the years many of whom they knew for over 40 years.
