Mrs. Hester was born in LaGrange, Georgia on December 25, 1950, the daughter of the late Harriet Bailey Brown and Wiley Monroe Brown. She was a Christian by faith. Her whole life revolved around her family. She loved nothing more than preparing wonderful meals for her family. She loved attending family reunions where she could be surrounded by her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her only child, Michelle Brown, and one grandson, Zackary Meeler, both of Franklin, GA.; two sisters, Bobbie Sue Marlow of Wedowee, AL., and Pam Howard of Ranburn, AL.; one step son, Anthony Hester (Dixie) of Part St. Joe, FL.; two sisters-in-law, Lee Long and Melba Milam both of Carrollton, GA.; two brothers-in-law, Donald Hester (Imogene) and Lloyd Hester also of Carrollton, GA.; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Max Brown and James Brown.
