So glad I had the pleasure of having Melvin touch my life. What a drummer! What a praying young man! Sunday nights at True Gospel (aka True Baptist) will never be the same. My heart mourns with the Jackson Family but is comforted in knowing that we will all meet again. Niecy...so sorry you lost your brother..but you still have a sister.

My Dear friend,I am going to miss you. I will cherish the memories we shared as children playing ball, going to school, you getting home having to walk your beloved pekingese, and you always trying to teach me about the lord. I can go on and on but i am sure you know the love respect and admiration i have for you. You will surely be missed. Rest well Mel.

I am so proud to have known Pastor Melvin Jackson. He was always a fine respectful young man. My heart goes out to his family. Just remember "to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord and not matter how hard it is to see him go we know he is in a better place and we will see him again. If a man die shall he live again and the answer is yes.
