Rest in peace mama, couldn't get to relate with you that much before relocating to imo state, mama that full of smiles and laughter, sister Eunice, ogechi, Emeka my roommate aka KHASE and Chima. I'm still with you guys in prayers. Adieu mama.....

I never got to meet you in person, but the little I heard of and know of you through your son Chima, made me realize how wonderful and lucky your children are to have a mother like you. Rest in peace and know that you will forever live in the hearts of many.

TRIBUTE TO A VIRTOUS WOMAN
On behalf of my family, I commiserate with the entire family of Late Nze (Sir) J. N. Igwe on the demise of Late Dame Mercy Chinatu Igwe (Nee Ozuzuma) .
We received the sad news of her demise with immense shock which devastated us for some good days. Mum as I usually call her, was a woman decorated by nature with tremendous wisdom, humility, cheerfulness. Cared and loved all the family friends. Highly accommodating and God fearing woman during her life time. A jewel of inestimable value. A great Virtuous woman, an inseparable companion to our Late Nze (Sir) J. N. Igwe, Counselor and friend of all her children.
Mum lived a life worthy of emulation and left her foot prints in the sand of time.
Her painful exit undoubtedly will create a huge vacuum in your lives, but take heart.
I implore the entire family to take solace in the Scriptures : 1Thess 5:18 which says "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you".
May the Almighty God grant you the fortitude to bear this huge and irreparable loss.

The news of your demise Mummy Igwe as my mum fondly called you came to us as a rude shock and a pang in our hearts .
What we have of you now are the memories and Legacy you left which is evident in your children.

O Death where is thine sting
O grave where is thine pride .

Mummy Igwe ,while you were here with us you ensued peace with all men and remained committed to Godly virtues and to the service of God in your Church.
Nevertheless, " to live in the hearts of those you love is  not to Die" Rest peacefully until the resurrection morning when we all meet to part no more .

My dear brother Khase, I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. I can’t imagine what you must be feeling right now, but I want you to know that we are just a phone call away. I pray that God will grant you & your family the much-needed strength & peace during this sad time. My heartfelt condolences.

Death is the inevitable end of all life. Yet how it comes and when it comes remains a mystery. But like a clarion call, when it beckons, we must surely answer.

Ma, I may not have met you personally but I know a beautiful, strong, audacious woman whom you raised. Thank you for blessing us with the gift of your daughter, Joy who is a blessing to me and to the Church of Jesus Christ.
There is no gainsaying that you were a loving and caring Mummy to all who met you. Caring not only for your immediate family but for as many people as God brought your way. Our consolation is in the fact that you passed on in the Lord.

The Bible says that “if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable...1 Corinthians 15:19.
Therefore, we do not sorrow as others who have no hope.

I pray to God that He will comfort and strengthen your family especially your children at this time the way that only He can.
