Michael's role as a canine daddy
Michael loved his dogs and he had a few that he trained, saved and brought home to share the never ending adventures we had while together.. Christine was our groomer, our vet assistant and did a wonderful job informing us how to be proper pet parents..She advised us, shared with us the proper nutrition (being a 4-H dog leader, ROP vet assistant trained and certified dog groomer we were in good hands as were our famous pets). Every summer we were in parades in Oregon with them and they loved it..Michael would be taking pictures and speaking proudly of his then six dogs.... Lilly, Chewy, Sissy Elmo, Molly, Darla...His own dashund Tica has passed away on a trip back home due to illness, the trip was ended at the vet in San Marcos in time to put her to sleep as she was not doing well on the way home..He loved the fun of having them...He told me he had always wanted six kids but when he helped raise his grandkids he changed his mind and decided that six dogs was easier...Our decision was to chose each other and some dog children...
Growing up in San Diego Ca
Michael grew up in Kearny Mesa, son of a San Diego Police officier, who looked out for his constantly chalenging teenage children...Strong in his local church for which his family always attended..He carried this faith into his bible college days where he eventually gratuated with his bachelor degree in theology. After he married Anne, who insisted he complete his goal realizing he only had a class or two to finish he graduated with all of us cheering him on..Michael loved his mother who was always supportive of all he did and was...She passed away two weeks before him and she was in her 90's. His love for his mom and her love for him made him such a treasure of a person.
Our family life
No natural children could have loved Michael any more than his stepchildren, Christine and her family with whom he shared much, and Michael and his family..We were his own and he cared for us all...We love him dearly..he was and is a part of us and "Forever Missed"

Some of Michael's favorite things
The beautiful sea mounts of the coast
We often, winter or summer, spent our time taking pictures and walking the breathtaking beautiful beaches of our area... Mike and I loved to go exploring and spend time in our coastal place. I don't think there is any other place we wanted to be than living the dream...going home to dinner and being together watching the surf, listening to the waves in our tree house on the hill....The life there seemed so simple and easy...
Home Sweet Home
The beautiful Oregon coast was a welcome place to be away from the busy and never ending strivings of South Cal. Simple life and time to be together...But the medical care of So Cal does not exist in Southern Oregon...They could do better to learn from the despised Californians that have better health practices than Oregonians have here..We pray for Divine Intervention and Wisdom in that area....beautiful as it is that is not the problem...
Our castle
Michael loved this place and had vision to totally fix it up to be totaly self sufficient. The view of the Pacific and the Rogue is magnificient, the air quality is perfect and the drinking water tasty...We are above the tsunami zone safe and secure from any danger that could occur...we always felt relaxed and slept well under those beautiful Oegon stars.
This is a card I had for Michael which bought for our anniversary and I forgot to send it to him as I was in San Diego for a hearing to increase my social security due to my work related injury. His dog was Tica our dashund and this card had the dashund on the front. It opened into the long dashund body...It was to be sent to him on our anniversary May 5th, 2013 and I found it hiding in my drawer for which I had bought in advance...So I put it on his flowers...he loved his dogs and talked about them all by name, but the dashunds were his favorite being our 1st dogs together.
