Big Mike...

I first met Mike when I started working at St. Francis thrift store in Kettering, back in 2005. Mike, Big Mike, as everyone called him, was an instant friend. Big Mike was always there to help even if you didn't ask. He was such a hard worker and in my opinion, was never appreciated enough by the people who employed him. When my friend Brenda called me and told me Mike was in the hospital, I immediately went and saw him, hey, that's what friends do.
Years later when I found out Mike had passed away, it broke my heart. I was living in Wisconsin and could not be there for his memorial. I know Mike knows I was thinking of him and Mary.
I hope she's doing ok now, Mike was her life, her everything...I miss you my friend...
