"In the glistening Of the lost and open sky Tiny piece of you sits Simple wish waits for reply. Where have you gone my feather light heart? 'You mustn't forget what love can see.' " -"Where" by Lisbeth Scott

"You taught me the courage of stars before you left. How light carries on endlessly, even after death. With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite. How rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist. I couldn’t help but ask For you to say it all again. I tried to write it down But I could never find a pen. I’d give anything to hear You say it one more time, That the universe was made Just to be seen by my eyes." -"Saturn" by Sleeping at Last I love you. I miss you. Love conquers all.

I found an old blank journal of yours. I thought there's little use in a blank journal, so I decided to write my dreams in it, my dreams for the future. Please watch over me as I attempt to follow through with these, and let them be for the good of all, not just me. I love you. Always and forever.

I've been reading the news as much as I can- it's not good for me to read it in detail because I get upset- I'm really scared we might go to war with Syria. If we do, is it the right thing to do? Is war ever right? As Quakers, we're supposed to be against war. But, what do we do? I miss you so much at times like this. You always comforted me. Love you.

I love you past the moon, past the stars, and now into another world. We will see each other again someday.

I miss you so much. I heard these song lyrics and thought of you: "These are not times for the weak of heart. These are the days of raw despondence. And I never dreamed I would have, To lay down my torch for you like this."
