Your still here with me. I think about you everyday and all the lives you have affected a positive way. You will never be forgotten. Im going be everything I can be because of you; you taught me to never be afarid of who I am and what I want to do; happniess is the greatest accomplishment in life. Your memories will always keep you alive. I still can't believe your physically not here to ground me and hug me when I need it the most but I can sense you all the time around me. The other day I found this as a bookmark in one of your books and I know this is true now more than ever for me and you:

Footprints

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flash scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belong to him, and the other belong to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flash before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
'Lord you said that once I decided to follow You, You'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed You most You would leave me.'

The Lord replied, 'My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints it was then that I was carrying you.'

I saw a great blue heron walking with ease and grace on a narrow pipe in a lake and heard a glorious chorus of cicadas on my walk this morning. Many blessings for your journey. I will be forever grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from you and to sit in meditation with you. I am especially grateful that I decided to give myself a birthday gift of a reading with you in late March of this year In the course of our long conversation you relayed the story of a recent hike you had taken. The trail was closed and as you made your way you could see that it was covered with fallen branches and brambles and debris making it difficult to traverse but you kept redirecting and persevered..At one point you even had to crash through the brush backwards.. and the story became a parable for allowing ourselves to grow creatively vs taking the easy way out. When you reached the top of the mountain.. you could see far into the distance. That view became a metaphor for what happens when we raise our awareness and vibration.. and then we both had a good laugh when you said you looked down the other side of the mountain and the path was totally clear from that direction.. but you emphasized that you would have missed the opportunity to grow creatively had you taken that route and your point was taken.
So now you are energetically at a vantage point that can oversee far more vast expanses.. and we all trust that you are shining down on us with your brilliant light and love. Thank you for everything!!!

I am forever grateful for your healing sessions and teachings filled with wisdom, calm, reassurance and such deep grounding. Love and light to you on your continued journey. And again.. thank you!!

I wish I had the chance to get to know you on a more personal level. You were an amazing father to my best friend, a loving husband, and a great friend and mentor to so many people. I am so incredibly saddened by your passing. Although I didn't know you well personally, I can only think you for being a perfect father to my best friend. You raised a beautiful, intelligent, bright soul and showed her the true meaning of love. Thank you. Thank you for giving me my best friend. Thank you for raising her and teaching her about the world. Thank you for giving us Zena. Knowing we are forever and one Micheal, gives us the peace that allows us to go on and the hope of residing together again some where in the future. Thank you and Francesca for giving us a dimension in our lives that we never could have had other wise.

Michael,
The special light of a Michael McCartney healing, teaching, or just conversation, is one of my favorite things. (Why do we refer to you in the 3rd person in conversation with you? Because the size of your light needs 3 persons to address!). 

The way you shine your light Michael brings out the best in each person. You see the best, you see the love, and you hold that frequency, hold that space for us to fill out. Your love, wisdom, patience, acceptance and humor is the perfect place for all to grow and find self-love, self-acceptance and the ability to laugh at ourselves on our journey. You cared for me, my husband and my son, bringing us inestimable relief and clarity on our journeys, and modeling for our intuitive 10-year-old son what it means to be a powerful, resplendent intuitive man. We talked clairaudience, hearing the deep zen monk hum of planet earth together, clairvoyance, seeing the abstract colors and shapes of my aura and questions together, and clairsentience, trading stories of our feeling journey, missing fingers and lessons and difficult mothers and moments. Nothing was too dark or deep in that expansive, bright container. It is a delight to have crossed paths. I will look for you in spirit now, from your place of bliss and one-ness.

As shocking as transition is, I know that no one was better prepared to have transitioned out of the body, so I will wish you safe journeys, knowing that you are safe, cherished and softly carried by your inner guidance to an even brighter expansion and expression of your brilliant light. You will certainly be forever missed and forever remembered.
